Living on the Costa Blanca. Sports clubs.
3 Aug · Activities on the Costa Blanca & Calida

The Costa Blanca is known for being the cradle of leisure and enjoyment in Spain, also for lovers of sport and other less usual leisure activities.

And of course, with the influence of the Mediterranean Sea, there are numerous yacht clubs and sailing clubs, where, even if you do not own a boat, you can enjoy the entire coastline, coves and beaches. Alicante, El Campello, Villajoyosa, Benidorm, Altea, Calpe, Benissa, Moraira, Jávea and Denia have important clubs that offer a variety of activities for adults and children: sailing, dinghy sailing, rowing, sub, windsurfing .....

On the way to the southern part of the Costa Blanca, Santa Pola has a multitude of sports clubs for many sports such as airplane flying, climbing, skateboarding, including the less popular weightlifting.
If you are a bird enthusiast, you can also find your place in the ornithological clubs in the area, as the Natural Park of Las Salinas offers a unique habitat for countless species all year round.
In this category we can also include the pigeon clubs, which are very popular in the area.

Golf lovers will also find their paradise on the Costa Blanca. 15 golf clubs in the province of Alicante alone, 2 of them in Campoamor and Villamartin, very close to our Green Hills residential complex.
Cricket, horse riding, tennis, mountain biking, regattas, kayaking, petanque, football, Nordic walking,
volleyball....

So much so that in 2017 the CostaBlanca Sports Tourism Association was created in Alicante, with the aim of publicising the province's resources in this area and thus promoting national and international sports tourism in this beautiful part of Spain.
